I've created a lot of things—some would call me a serial entrepreneur, but I'd just say I like building things.
Currently I'm the founder and CEO of Everwall.
Most of my experience deals with real-time processing and search engines. Recently I was going through my LinkedIn profile and updating things, and I realized that nearly every job I've worked at over my 20+ years of experience, involved me building search engines and content discovery systems. It's kind of a weird coincidence, but it likely stems from the fact that I like working with real-time processing, lots of data, and making things more accessible.
As the Founder of several start-ups, I've gone from zero to one more times than I can count, and I've also then scaled it from one to 20+ team members several times. Managing cross-functional teams and working to get rid of roadblocks for them before they encounter them, is a satisfying role to play for me.
I've been around the block a few times, and because of that, I've had the opportunity to learn a ton of different technologies. Here's just a few that I'm most comfortable with:
I've worked with way more processes and tools for project management than I could possibly list here. We've transitioned from basic Excel spreadsheets to dedicated product management apps using any methodology you can think of. Project management is more than just tools, it's a mindset, it's thinking ahead, it's always questioning the why and then determining the best how. While most of my experience is directly developing things, I definitely feel that I'm a project manager at heart.
